1.2 Delivery Time

We try to dispatch items in stock within three working days.

Some of our products are dispatched directly from our suppliers and some are made to order. In these cases we will contact you once the order has been placed with our suppliers to confirm the approximate lead time and will then write again to confirm the delivery date when your items are ready to be shipped. Typical delivery timescales are indicated on the relevant product page.

Once items have been dispatched, delivery times are on average as follows:

UK customers: delivery within 1-3 working days after dispatch.

Non-UK customers: delivery within 3-4 working days after dispatch.

1.3 Shipping

Shipping to the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland

Items in stock will be shipped on a next day service using UK Mail. An email will be sent to you with the tracking number and UK Mail will contact you to confirm the delivery slot. A signature will be required on delivery. You will be able to change the delivery slot if you wish. We will dispatch in stock items within three days of order.

Shipping charges for non-furniture items are as follows:

Mainland England, Wales (including Anglesey) and Scottish Lowlands £5.95

Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Wight £11.95

Scottish Highlands (mainland only) and Northern Ireland £12.95

All Scottish Islands, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man £16.95

Republic of Ireland £16.95

Furniture shipping costs £48 to mainland England, Wales (including Anglesey) and Scottish Lowlands. Please contact us prior to purchase for a shipping quote to other destinations.

Shipping to the rest of the world

We currently ship to all EU countries plus Norway, Switzerland, the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. We hope to expand this list soon to include other countries.

Please contact us if you would like goods shipped to a country not listed and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Please note the above international shipping costs are given as an estimate only. We endeavour to give the most accurate price, but in some cases, shipping can incur additional charges. We will contact all international customers by either e-mail or telephone if the actual shipping charge differs from that quoted.

1.4 VAT, customs & duty

All prices include VAT at the UK standard rate of 20%, where this applies. For deliveries to countries outside of the EU and the Isle of Man the VAT will be removed during the checkout process.

Please note for shipping to outside of the EU and the Isle of Man the customer is liable for any import duties and taxes that may be incurred. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly from our carrier or a carrier that you appoint. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We are unable to offer guidance on such duties or taxes and recommend that you contact your local Customs Office to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion. Some orders may experience customs delays.

1.5 Returns & cancellations

We want you to be delighted with your purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return items for a refund (postage will not be refunded unless the item is damaged, faulty or incorrect). If you wish to return an item to us, please notify us as soon as you can at [email protected]. Goods must be received back by us within fourteen days of the day you received the goods from us.

Goods will only be refunded where they are received back by us in saleable condition and in the original packaging. Please ensure you obtain adequate shipping insurance as you are liable for the return of the items.

Bespoke or personalized items, such as pillows with embroidered names, or goods made in non-standard colours or sizes, are not returnable unless they are damaged or faulty. This does not affect cancellations or your statutory rights.

2.2 Definitions

In these conditions the following terms shall have the following meaning: “The Company” means Rita Konig Limited. “Customer” means the customer of the company. “Contract” means any contract for the sale of goods by The Company to the Customer.

2.3 Payment

Payments will be pre-authorised at the time of placing an order. No goods shall be supplied without payment.

Payments are made via PayPal – they handle the transaction on our behalf and as such we do not at any time gain access to your full payment method details, except your address which is necessary in order for us to fulfill your order. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

2.4 Claims

Claims arising from damage, delay or partial loss of the goods in transit must be made in writing or by email to Rita Konig Ltd within seven working days of delivery. Rita Konig Ltd shall be afforded reasonable opportunity to investigate any claim made hereunder, and the Customer shall, if so requested in writing or verbally by Rita Konig Ltd, promptly return any of the goods subject to any claim and any packing materials securely packaged to Rita Konig for examination.

2.5 Liability

If the Customer establishes that any of the goods have not been delivered, or have been delivered damaged, or are not of the correct quantity, Rita Konig Ltd shall at its option, replace them with similar goods, or allow the Customer credit for their invoice value.

In no circumstances shall the liability of Rita Konig Ltd to the Customer under this condition exceed the invoice value of the goods.

2.6 Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or rent the information you provide us to anyone.

Your registration details may be used to inform you of upcoming events and invitations, special offers, new or selected product information. If you would prefer not to receive these updates, please contact us on [email protected]

2.7 Product Specifications

Rita Konig Ltd reserve the right to alter specifications to those stated on the website, including slight differences in colour, shade and size. The Customer’s statutory rights will not be affected. We will endeavor to contact you prior to dispatch to inform you of any changes to goods ordered.

Rita Konig Ltd endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However, Rita Konig Ltd does not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies and typological errors. If the goods do not on receipt by you substantially meet the description on this web site you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us.

2.8 Prices

Prices are as set out on the website and include VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.

It may be necessary to change prices either up or down, from time to time, including any alterations to the rate of VAT. Any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of ordering.

While every effort has been made to portray items accurately, slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow. Please note there may be variations in colours dependant on the calibration and settings of individual screens.
